Welding joints refer to the method of joining two pieces of metal together. There are several types of welding joints. Butt joint: two pieces are placed together end to end. T-joint: two pieces are joined perpendicular to a third piece. Corner joint: two pieces are joined at a 90-degree angle. Lap joint: two pieces overlap each other. Edge joint: two pieces are placed together edge to edge. Each joint requires a different welding technique and preparation to ensure a strong and reliable weld.
