St. Therese at age 15. She put her hair up in an effort to look older when she traveled to the Vatican with her father, hoping to get permission to join the Carmelite order earlier than the required age.

Foto de Santa Teresinha do Menino Jesus com aproximadamente 08-09 anos. Desde criança era inteligentíssima e tinha uma personalidade forte e marcante. Era a "rainhazinha" da casa, sem ser "pedante" ou "chata". Ao contrário: seu espírito vivaz e ativo era voltado para Deus e para o amor e respeito pela família.
