Anatomy Assignment 3-rectus femoris muscle: Function: The primary function is knee extension. It also assists with hip flexion. The rectus femoris can perform these two functions simultaneously. Innervation: Femoral nerve (L2–L4). Thus the rectus femoris received its name because it runs straight down the thigh. It is a two way acting muscle as it crosses over the hip and knee joint; therefore, it functions to extend the knee and also assists iliopsoas in hip flexion. 4-quadriceps : Function

Pronator Teres Syndrome (PTS) is an uncommon form of compression neuropathy affecting the median nerve, particularly at the site where it traverses between the two heads of the pronator teres muscle in the forearm. This condition is frequently mistaken for carpal tunnel syndrome due to similar symptoms; however, it can be differentiated by the specific location of pain and the particular muscles involved.

physiofit on Instagram: "“Did you know that our forearm bones can be parallel or crossed at times? . Your forearm is made up of two bones: the ulna and the radius. When you turn your hand palm down, the radius rotates around the ulna. This action, known as pronation, is controlled by the pronator teres and pronator quadratus muscles. Conversely, the supinator muscle wraps around the radius to enable the opposite action, called supination. . . . . . . #forearm #ulna #radius #anatomy…
