In many of my shoots over the last year, I have opted to use only LED continuous lights over my strobes, and I can only see that trend continuing. Portrait Photography Split Lighting This is a good example of side light because the right side of the subject’s face can be clearly seen, creating a shadow on the left side. Its’s also a good example because it makes the picture more dramatic.
