Of all the places I’ve been, Ohiopyle State Park is still one of my favorite places to visit. This Pennsylvania state park sits in the Laurel Mountains in a sleepy corner of the southwestern part of the state. When the town of Ohiopyle was named the best small town in the northeast by the USA Today, I had to share some of the best things to do in the park for people thinking of visiting!

The Mohican State Park combines beautiful vistas, historical landmarks, and outdoor experiences. There is a plethora of activities available for all ages,

More than 14 miles of the Youghiogheny River Gorge churns through the heart of Ohiopyle, some of the best whitewater boating in the eastern U.S. The 30-foot bridal veil Cucumber Falls and Cucumber Run Ravine are blanketed with flowers in spring and summer. 80 miles of trails within the park including 28-miles of the Great Allegheny Passage offer visitors awesome views.
