"Bani Thani" 80cm x 40cm My own take on an old Indian painting with some Rajasthani & Mughal latticework. Bani Thani was a singer and poet in Kishangarh in the time of king Sawant Singh (1748–1764). Her portrait was painted by Nihal Chand and was featured in an Indian stamp issued on 5 May 1973. She is also known by some as the Indian Mona Lisa 😊 .
