By Theodor Samuel Gericke. Or as I like to call it, the meeting of the three scoundrels. In 1709 in Oranienburg Palace in Potsdam met three European kings to discuss an alliance against the Swedish king Charles XII. From left Augustus II of Poland, Frederick I of Prussia and Frederick IV of Denmark. Note the remarkable similarity of their clothing: obviously all three were keen to dress according to fashion.
