Historical fonts

I found this on the welovetypography.com site. Which they found it from BUTDOESITFLOAT.COM VIA: ABLEPARRIS I love old english style fonts. They are my favorite! I don't know why, it's probably because of their relationship to metal music. But this font is rad! Except....I'm not sure what language this is...it might actually be german because of the extra letters on the end...but I don't know!

Condensed vintage style originally inspired by a late 1800's 'French Condensed' sign painter's style. Complete set consists of 6 fonts, including 3D block shadows and highlights.

Another hand-drawn typeface, this time with an old fashioned feel. It has a sketchy texture and a strong italic style, and is chunky whilst keeping its lightness. This font is ideal for historical projects; old maps, posters and flyers about dragons and demons, treasure and travel. (The background in this preview can be found in my Paper & Stationery Collection, found on my profile page.) Kerning was extremely difficult to work out in this font so i have played safe and kept the glyphs…
