Grunge cards

I always find it so easy to make guy cards, but it is probably because they are for all the special guys in my life. This collage style birthday card is for our Grandson Antwan, who will be turning 16 soon! This card is for a special friend who helped us with a sizeable home remodeling project. I was inspired by the mess in our home to create a grungy construction looking theme. This is a very quick Father's Day card I made last night. Inspiration came from Pinterest but I changed up the design. I used brilliant blue cardstock (retired), the ink I used was soft sage, midnight muse, and so saffron. I cut DAD and the stars on my cricut. I used dollar store glitter paper for the dad, and on the stars I used my homemade glimmer mist. I embellished with bakers twine and a button.

I have been wanting to use this stamp set for some time now - it is Grunge Rock from Stampin' Up!
