Today is officially Venice’s 1600th birthday. I took this at Sant’Eufemia on Giudecca in June 2020. One of the best things about this crazy year was the opportunity, thanks to a flat lent by a friend, to get to know unfathomable, glorious, bewildering Venice a bit better.
