What you just watched is my Precise Transfer Method, which is my favorite way to get accurate image lines onto fabric for needle felting. When I first developed this method, it felt like I was somehow cheating. For a long time, I held this process really close and didn’t share it with anyone. Was I ashamed? Were people going to judge me for not free-handing each pet? 🤔 What I realize now is that this method is an incredible time saver, and is just an aid for creating lifelike portraits that my clients cherish. I could draw every portrait, but with this, I don’t need to. This method doesn’t just help me, it helps my students, too!
