Earth layers project 6th grade

Peyton (our 11 year old) loves school projects where he gets to use his creativity. In 4th grade, he had to create a 3D animal and he chose a paper mache diamondback rattlesnake, which turned out SO cool. This time, he had to create a 3D model of the layers of the earth (6th-grade science)

My epic Earth layers science project. It took 5 hours

Create an interactive Earth Layers project for 6th grade students. Learn about the different layers of the Earth in a fun and educational way.

A student I taught made this model for the project I assigned.

My two fifth grade classes spent the month of December studying Earth Science. They completed an Earth Layer project at home and an Earth Science slide show on their Chrome books in class. We shared them Tuesday before vacation. I was very pleased with their creative ideas!!! Here are two of the slide shows:
