I am a huge fan of everything Americana. I consider anything iconic that has to do specifically with our country's history to be Americana, including the Dust Bowl. I wanted to try to convey the terror and loneliness one must have felt during that time. There is a place in the Oklahoma panhandle called "No Man's Land" that was hit the hardest by the dust storms during the decade long beating.
