I created various poster designs which attempt to raise awareness of deforestation through a different perspective. I wanted to appeal to most audiences to show that deforestation affects us directly.

The Amazon rainforest has been on fire for the past three weeks recording the highest since 2013. As the number of fires increases at the Amazon, greenhouse gas emissions do too. This makes the planet's overall temperature rise. In addition to increasing emissions, deforestation contributes directly to a change in rainfall patterns in the affected region, extending the length of the dry season, further affecting forests, biodiversity, agriculture, and human health.
