To honor today's Featured Stamper, Joanne Allison (Angelnorth). What a gorgeous gallery! Joanne is very supportive of others leaving lovely comments. I just received these gear dies last week and was very anxious to use them. I chose [URL="http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2754599?&cat=500&ppuser=149756"][COLOR="Sienna"]this[/COLOR][/URL] fabulous masculine card to CASE. I used different colors, multiple gears, different stamps, a rectangle and mats instead of sewing…

I stamped the rainy stripes in silver pigment 5 X through the center of the card. The sentiment was stamped & embossed with black. I die cut an assortment of gears from silver & gold metallic cardstock to layer over my stripes then added a few gold sequins for balance. The whole piece was mounted onto midnight glitter cardbase (the glitter is probably more effective inside than out but it went well with my silver metallic gears.)

Hi everyone, thanks for all the lovely comments you've left recently. A quick post from me today. Just thought I'd share a card I'd been asked to make. Sometimes keeping it simple is what's requested ....hence the title. I thought I'd take the opportunity to combine it with the current challenge over at SanDee & amelie's blog which is 'Three's my lucky number' .
