Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” has raged on and is likely to gain renewed fervor with the Friday release of the 50th-anniversary edition of the album, newly remixed in stereo by Giles Martin, son of the album’s original producer, George Martin.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club's Band is the pseudonym of the Beatles on their album of the same name. Released in 1967, the album contains such hits as "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" and "A Day in the Life." This era marked the transition of the band's image from less clean cut and more experimental and avant garde.
