Williamsburg Fall - In the eighteenth century a symmetrical display on the dining table was extremely important. Here Staffordshire gods & a goddess ring antique salvers on which fresh & dried fruits, nuts, candied peels, dried flowers & small Staffordshire rabbits have been carefully arranged according to the custom of that time. A miniature pineapple on a bed of chopped peel is placed in a goblet at the top. Small shell dishes between the figurines hold marzipan & candied peels.
