The Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, locally known as the "Gorge Bridge" and the "High Bridge,"[2] is a cantilever truss bridge across the Rio Grande Gorge 10 miles (16 km) northwest of Taos, New Mexico, United States. At 650 feet (200 m) above the Rio Grande, it is the fifth highest bridge in the United States

D&RGW #473 leads it's mixed train south along the Animas River at the Cement Wall. This section of track is wedged between a 800 foot tall piece of granite and the rough waters of the Animas River making it a scenic highlight of the Silverton Branch.
