Still using and loving our Bible felt board Small Deluxe Set. Pros: Bible comes alive. Kids REMEMBER and and re-tell on their own every story we've told them using the felt set. Cons: Expensive ($125 on ebay) and takes time to cut the pieces out, prepare for each lesson and store in a central place (we stick ours under the living room couch). Still, my kids (ages 2-7) really love it, so we use it often.

University of Reading archaeologists have discovered an ancient and extremely rare Anglo-Saxon board gaming piece while excavating a royal complex at Lyminge, Kent. Not only is the piece the first of this type to be found since the Victorian period, it is the first ever piece to be discovered in a ‘gaming’ setting, an Anglo-Saxon royal hall. Beautifully crafted from a hollow cylinder of bone, the piece has delicate lathe-turned end caps secured with a central bronze rivet.
