I change this a bit1 package of fiesta dip mix,  8 oz container sour cream, 1/4 onions, 1 small can of chopped black olives and1 chopped tomato.. great dip...serve with corn chips( less salty the better)

Oven roasted okra.  [Made this for my Dad since he was craving food from his Texas childhood.  He said it was as good as he remembered (even if it wasn't fried in hog fat!) and that it was as good as his Aunt Margret's!  That's high praise.  I sprayed my pan with a bit of EVOO, and seasoned my cornmeal with Johnny's Seasoning Salt, and added some smoked paprika) This was definitely a hit and I think better for dad than his usual afternoon snack of chili flavored Fritos!
