As time goes on, it's clear texting isn't a way to communicate, but rather a modern way to ignore people more efficiently—especially with "mooning." You probably know about "ghosting," suddenly cutting off all contact to avoid a breakup conversation. But what about people you just want to talk to less? "Mooning" is the rude but totally logical practice of silencing someone because they're annoying and/or unimportant. It could have already happened to you, and you'd have no idea.
I am a mama of five (three kids, two dogs) and they need my attention. I’m also a writer, so ideas need my attention, too. Everyday ideas pull on my shirt and insist that I put them onto paper right away – but I usually can’t because Chase needs me to watch him on his skateboard or Tish needs help with her book report or Theo needs a walk. So ninety percent of the time I have to ignore these insistent ideas and allow them to slip away and pass on to someone more available. I suppose that…
anyways i'm just gonna continue my lil yugyeom spam to cheer myself up and motivate me to write my presentation text (while writing this post i also remembered that i'm supposed to hand in an essay tomorrow but i'm just gonna ignore that lmao)
