Biking the Death Road in La Paz, Bolivia (Videoblog 034)
The yungas road, better known as "death road" is located near La Paz in Bolivia and is supposed to be the world's most dangerous road. An estimate is that 200 to 300 travellers were killed yearly along the road, since 1998 you are able to do dwonhill mountain bike tours there - around 18 cyclists died until today.
The Goat Canyon Railroad Trestle Anza Borrego. Distance: 4-6 miles. Hidden back in the desert mountains of Anza-Borrego State Park east of San Diego is the largest wooden railroad trestle in the world. This trek is not for the inexperienced hiker and will most likely take you a whole day. The "trail" is not marked or maintained and is pretty much non-existent. You’ll have to do some navigating for this one.
