Tea Garden Cabinet - The cabinet was built for me by my grandfather when I was in high school. When I began doing stained glass, nearly thirty years later, these were my first two panels to try. I wanted to replace the window glass in the cabinet doors with some I made to make it a joint project, even though my grandfather was no longer alive. The rose was first, perhaps my fifth or sixth project, the only previous projects were sun catchers for practice.

Liberty, attributed. An Art Nouveau Cabinet, circa 1900. in mahogany, with stained fruitwood inlay in sinuous foliate patterns, two stained glass cabinet doors inset with stylised tulip shapes in coloured and opalescent glass, plush velvetine lining, with two removable shelves.
