Kale!! Never thought I'd like it until my detox changed my taste buds. I usually steam it for 5 min. Mix with EVOO, 1-2 minced garlic cloves, fresh lemon juice, sea salt, and cracked pepper. You can also add soy sauce for a different flavor.
I don't think a lot of people incorporate kale into their diets. I know I wasn't until recently. Mostly because I had no idea what to do with it. Kale is VERY nutritious. My recent favorite kale recipe is KALE CHIPS! They are so easy to make. Toss a bunch of kale with some olive oil and Bragg liquid aminos, spread out onto a cookie sheet and sprinkle with nutritional yeast, bake at 350 for 10min. They are so surprisingly good and healthy and addicting. (Vegan too!)
