Hawaiian Kalua Pork in the oven. CROCKPOT METHOD: Pierce pork all over with carving fork. Rub 1 1/2 Tbsp sea salt, then 2-3 Tbsp liquid smoke all over meat. Cook in crockpot on Low for 16 to 20 hours, turn once during cooking time. Remove meat and shred, add drippings as needed to moisten. This is REALLY GOOD, just like the Kalua Pig I had at a luau in Hawaii. Served it with rice, slaw, fresh pineapple and homemade sweet Hawaiian bread. So easy, and so Good!
