The film chronicles the diagnosis and treatment of a breast cancer survivor, interspersed with personal tales from famous international celebrities who are also survivors, or affected closely by cancer.
Barbara Gröne, 51, 2003. All her life, she was plagued by the idea that she has no right to be alive. She was an unwanted baby: soon after her birth, her mother put her into a home. After much hard work, it seemed that life was giving her a better hand. But then the cancer struck. Her old fears returned: the worthlessness and sadness.
