Cactus Dome on the Marshall islands -- perfect example of humanity’s self-destructive ways, as it was created to cover up radioactive debri created by nuclear tests between 1946 and 1962. This resulted in an enormous, foot-and-a-half-thick, 100,000-square-foot dome consisting of 358 gigantic concrete panels, visible from outerspace.
