Pietro Vierchowod – known to everyone (as it was easier to pronounce) as ‘Lo Zar’ (the Czar) – wore the Magica shirt for the 1982/83 season, when Roma won back the Scudetto 41 years after their victory in black and white under coach Alfred Schaffer.
