The art of Painting with a map of Holland on the wall. I love the drapery being held back to invite us in. The map is on wooden rollers to keep it from touching the damp wall. These wonderful maps helped the Dutch become fantastic sailors who sailed back and forth to the east to create a very robust economy. This map has a border which shows most of the cities of Holland.

Giacomo Puccini (1858 – 1924) was an Italian composer whose operas are among the important operas played as standards. Puccini has been called "the greatest composer of Italian opera after Verdi". While his early work was rooted in traditional late-19th-century romantic Italian opera, he successfully developed his work in the realistic verismo style, of which he became one of the leading exponents.
