80K views · 34K reactions | Happy Earth Week! By now you likely know that I have a habit of saving random things most people would toss for the sake of repurposing, and one of my favorites to keep is just plain ‘ol packing paper. Not only does it make for the best gift wrap or table cover for crafting, but it can also be turned into these easy plant pots that you can stick right in the ground when ready to plant 🌱 There are no precise measurements, and any small cylindrical vessel will work (like a soda can.) The bottom may not sit perfectly flat before filling with soil, but that’s okay. The weight of the soil will solve that issue, or you can simply push the bottom into the pot a little bit. Am I a little late in sharing this? Maybe so. But you can always save this for next year! We haven’t reached our last frost date yet here in MN, so I’m getting a little head start on the cucurbits (cucumbers, squash, and pumpkins.) Have you started any seeds this year or are you planning on buying plants (or not gardening at all?) I decided to take a year off from all the starting I normally do and am just going to sow directly or purchase what I need. Sometimes you just gotta give yourself a breather, you know? Hope you’re all having a wonderful Wednesday! | Northwoods Folk | Facebook
