The Dangerous Myth of ‘No Problems’ in Childhood: A Bold Perspective
Problems are an essential part of life. Without them, life would be boring, monotonous, and still. Problems aren’t something to fear; they push us to grow, learn, and expand as individuals. Without problems, there would simply be no evolution. The truth is, a problem doesn’t have to be the end of the world, as we sometimes think. It depends on how we look at it. Why Silence About Racism in Classrooms Can Be Harmful
During a school activity, parents could come to explain their jobs to the children. Mateo’s dad, who is a doctor, came to class wearing his white coat and carrying his medical instruments. He patiently explained his routine and answered all the children’s questions with kindness. I was amazed at how well he handled the group, and the connection with the children was immediate. He was tall, had dark skin, and was very kind. He had endless energy and showed a lot of patience and tenderness towards the children.
Class Plus The Powerful Role of Women Teachers: A Tribute on Women’s Day
I have students from many places and countries around the world, and when Women’s Day approaches, someone always tells me their school is preparing something special to honor this day. It’s one of the most globally recognized events, and honestly, I didn’t realize its magnitude until a few years ago. Even though I’ve been creating activities and resources for my students for a long time, I’m still amazed every year at how this topic continues to gain importance.
